Well, its been a while, since, I have written anything. For starters, am a bit busy… yes !! it has become a buzz word for me, these days …

My father calls me …. I say, "Dad ! Am busy, I cant talk to you right now ! "

My Friends invite me over, to hang out… I say, "Dudes ! I have to fix bugs in my project"

My GF wakes me up at night for ….. [You know what I mean..] … and I still say, "Babes, I have to work tomorrow…." and I hate that look on her face….. [Nvr mind, Jus happened in my dream… ]

Best thing in the past two months……………, I have been to Germany, Paris and Switzerland babyyyyyyy !! That has been a   W.. O.. N.. derful  trip .. with my old geeks… [No offense those guys have grown too much technically… and what ever they said, I just heard… Blah Blah and more Blah…. I used to understand ‘em before, not any more ].. Well, I met a guy, who is really confident and determined to establish a start-up in INDIA … a mobile based… Surprisingly, [which I know you guys can’t believe] that was my idea too.. trust me, I even did a project on the same [I really did………….. ok I tried……………….. ok I just downloaded some parts of the project and ………….], but, my point is, I did have that idea in ma mind…

 

Enough of side tracks, anyway, of all the places, I liked Strasbourg, let it be gals, monuments, museums… or what ever…. I just liked that place very much. Heidelberg, I liked its castle … the view of the city was great from the top of the mountain there….. [and I didnt climb it, I just took a train.] .. What can I say about PARIS ?? Enough is said about the place by many great genius people… Switzerland was just soooo… well, its different then the rest of the places.. I have no time to explain those now… But I’ll soon.

 

Life’s getting interesting these days… Tourist season has just started in Cyprus and we are having our share of fun … If you know what I mean .... I have been to the same places where I went before where I couldn’t enjoy because of many reasons ……Well, this time I did…..

If you guys are still wondering about the title … I just wanted to say that 7 of us have played Mini-Golf and I won … I didn’t win a trophy or some bucks.. But, I did had the pleasure of winning some game on my won.. Its always not about the money or winning trophies guys, grow up, would you !!…. … I also went for bungi jumping, but, I have missed it, its closed untill July. Well, I think I am pretty much reaching the eligibility for the AWESOME HUNK title.

  

Am having strange dreams these days.. some are PG rated, some R and some .. he he . One more guy from my batch is leaving soon… the active member of the group...... I cant be mad, atleast, he has a clear idea about his future… am not sayin that I dont… but they are still, STILL in design phase [there is no need for you to be some kinda engineer to understand what I meant ..]…

 

Aah, forgot to tell, I have gone though this crazy blog about making cannibalism legal… I dont know why, but, I was pretty much convinced for a moment, but, come on, eating your own species…. eeww.. Do I have to say anymore about this ? I still feel guilty about eating chicken, but, I forget that while eating ..    

 

If I get time, I surely will write about my trip to DE, CHE , FR. I can’t write it now, guys, you see, am BUSY !

Some of my friends, while arguing has brought up some interesting phenomenon..

 It all started with a question raised by one of my friends "Why having sex with another person after marriage is wrong ??".

Basically the question that relates this blog is.. why paid sex is all different from buying a pizza leaving routine home made stuff  ?? 

 Claimed Similarities:

1) We get bored with eating routine home made stuff, so as, having sex with the same person.. [Remember!! all the idiots hearing and making these arguements are VIRGINs  ] 

2) We pay for a pizza and enjoy the difference, so as, pay for sex and enjoy the difference too..

3) When buyin a pizza is not a mistake, why does payin for sex is different [after marriage] ?? [Basically both are done to break the routine.]

 

 Since, am a software engg’er.. I will ask a funny question… "What are the major bugs in the above stated algorithm ??"

ok let me explain two bugs………. [the below is, strictly , my Opinion ! ].

 

1) We don’t have sex after marriage, its making love.. [understand the difference.. or else, fall in love, you will know.]

2) We don’t commit to the home made food.. But we commit[wont break the trust they have in us] ourselves to our spouse.. [have to !! … orelse dont call the relationship as marriage].

My hearty congratulations for completing the 100^th day in my company. We have gone through many ups and downs, yet we are still a family. There are many new things that we have learnt here just in three months. Many memories that we can bag home.

I just wanna remind you of some things, just for fun.

2)  First day in my company. Fridge full of chilled crap. Loads of presentations and as far as I remember we signed 37 times. [Correct me!]

5)  Training mein mafia… aur last din mein pata chala … desktops ka live transmission…
6)  MAFIAAAAAAAA [phir se ek baar khelni ka maan ho raha yaar]
7)  Ayia napa…. Kya bolu iski baare mein ?? Sab ka first time …… aur police ka lafda… chalo ji 400 CYP ka watt lagaya…
8)  Mc. Donalds hamara doosra ghar ho gayi  [khane keliye]…..
9)  Sab ka teams allot ho gaya….. testing waale bandhonka phir lafda shuru….
10)   Aa gayi, Romanians ka batch…..
11)   Jaldi hum sab ghar waale bhan gaya.. kuch ppl still stayed as tenants [free, ofcourse]
12)   500 ka pent house…
13)   Is baar PAFOS…. Phir se police log aaya… thank God kuch nehi huva…
14)   Mast trip tho bani…. Mera chasma aur sea ka love story shuru…….
15)   Beer Festival …. Amey ji ka dho baar Birthday celebrations….

And, still as far as I know.. no other batch eats at lunch together…. We 17 still eat together as a family… WE ROCK !!

Bas, ek kami hai ….. kisi firangi ko abhi tak “apna” nehi ban paya yaar koi….

Chalo, next 100 days mein kya hone waala hai… koun bata sakta yaar…. 17 – 16 tho ho jaayega.. phir bhi “ hum saat ….saat hai.. “ sry … yehape tho … hum sathra…… sathra hai…. [:-P]….

 

I think we have to celebrate this very great moment,….. come up with plans ….. Rahul ji.. aap tho is team ka manager hai…. Kuch socho… we will celebrate it grandly…

For me, life has become a routine and boring one again. Am in another country yet, Mr.Boredom is chasing me all the way. Cyprus, this smallcountry is running out of her witts in providing me enough entertainment . Work in my company was interesting during the last three weeks. How long will it be interesting?? will be my next question…

 

Mainly, am running out of good [for me, ofcourse] music these days. Am not liking any new songs. Am missing IIITA the most now. Movies are not updated regularly here. The only relief… Prison break and NARUTO…. but prison break’s next episode will be aired in Jan next yr. Suggest me some good music. My genres:: punk rock, pop, rock, metal, melody, blues.

 

Partying !! Hmm, for the first time after 22 yrs in my life, this word has found its meaning. Well, pubs or discos here are not that much interested in us, I guess. Well, some more ppl from my batch has bought their first car. Had a great ride yesterday !!! Went to "TGI Friday" a bar n restaurent. TGI Friday stands for "Thank GOD its FRIDAY". Had some drink called "Bahama mama". God knows what it is !!! As long as it tastes good… who cares ?

 

 Ball room dances.. Hmm, didnt go a step forward from three weeks… anyway started dancing in couples. Our starting step was with the basic step of tango. Its fun.. holding a gal for the first time … hmmm. We got introduced to each other atleast that was something to call "progress". Most of them are book-bugs [I cant find a exact word…. help me here.. they love reading books..]… I learnt a new word.. he he he… "we read literature" ?? I also remember some one using the word "Indian contemporary [??] literature….

 

My latest crush …. 3/4 length black winter coat. It was so cool. I saw it yesterday at a pub. I think I shd get one. See this, found it at Rachel’s.

Well, these days am going for ballroom dances. Also, there is an event going to take place in my company on 18th. F-O-F, I am participating in a SKIT… big deal !! For the first time, am actually feeling what its like to ACT. Expressions, rhythm, flow…

      I learn’t a lesson which I wanna share with you guys. "Nvr again comment any actor". You will learn how difficult it is to bring an expression on your face. Believe I nvr been serious in my whole life. Now, what my director wants is a serious expression on my face for the song "Haa yeh sapna hai mera… Lakshya". God my face just looks blank when I give a serious expression. I can’t even give an angry expression either. Well, to be honest I nvr been serious.

       Now, coming to dancing. I have to learn just a small step. [Just for them its a hell big step for me]. Three different ppl tried to teach me in 10 different styles but I couldn’t pick it up. Ofcourse, it needs very grace steps as of like feminine, come on am a guy and I can’t pick that either.. well after some 100 times of practice I made it a bit like theirs.. yet its horrible.

    Well, am no Soumya or Mayank [my Btech classmates] to be a dancer. Coming to ballroom dances, after three basic sessions, they paired us. My dance partner [I don’t know her name], loves to dance, better say, its her passion. I came thr just to know what are ballroom dances. Hmmm. now you can expect how did it go. Well, to say the least, she took the lead, in a way.

    Now, thats what I wanna say.. its always easy to comment from the last rows, but we would know exactly what it is, when we are doing it.

Well, guys, I have to learn alot in dancing and acting too.. lets see how will I do at that party tomorrow night.

I took alot of time to write this one Thing.. I dont know why but I felt very uncomfortable to write it..

    Well, the thing is I want to say a girl that I like her.. But, tell me how many times does that work when a guy [Stranger for her] went to a girl and said.. "I like you and I would like to take you out for a coffee.. what eva". Life is just ain’t another movie ..  How abt this ?? — " I want to do friendship with you.." how does this sounds.. he he .. pathetic ain’t it??.. I commented myself when ppl use this one.. but, I now know what they feel like [:(]

     I just want to know more about this girl.. so that I can know whether "US" works or not.. u knw, what I mean. For clarity, I dont love her.. I just like her,.. Thrz alot of difference between these words.. Leave that.. So, I met her, wished her happy birthday …. and just wanted to carry on the conversation later.. After a week, suddenly I pinged her and said a formal "HI"… well that is ok !!

     Next line .. "how was ur week?"… ok … before typing this, I thought for sometime… how to start or say how to drag her into a conversation.. so that we can later say "HI" when we meet outside.. From her side this is the msg.. "I dont wanna sound rude [Dude !!]" .. "but why ?? "…. Aaa haaa.. I don’t find any fault with her askin this… I mean, come on.. as I explained above.. am jus a stranger to her… Simply a stranger.. My stupid mistake is "add’in her on my buddy list".

     Now, thats whr I took a break… what to say .. i mean how to explain her??…"but why?" .. those two little words tested my entire knowledge in english.. Well, thought for a moment and I just closed the window.. I dont know wat to say .. I said "just tryin to make a conversation"  [Funny.. ain’t it ?? …. I laugh, when I think about this… ].. no reply … may be she’s expecting something else.. [What could that be ??]..  My first time talking to a stranger[girl] after 7 years of boys residential school. Hmmm.. many fail in their first attempt.. .. he he.

     Thats what happened that day … Monday 29th Oct.. The day that I remember foreva… Ohh ohh I forgot.. to make this happen [I mean to meet her, wish her, etc., etc.,].. I prepared for 3 weeks, noted the date on my calender.. practiced 100 times .. made different sketches [Plans]… Consulted Love Guru [sry !! he requested privacy…] … hmmm "did it fail ??" is the question that comes to my mind every day ..  I feel very very very uncomfortable to just see her… but the truth … I don’t know "why"… May be its because I didn’t say her wht I actually wanna say .. Hmmmmm May be !! ….

Hey folks !

Nothing much going on these days ! Week days in office, week ends searching for an apartment and I guess finally our search has come to an end . Meeting my land lord tomorrow.. So, its a three bed room apartment, fully furnished except no ACs… Well, its cheap compared to others.. and its near to the Office… What else we need ?

Eating in Mc. Donalds has become a common thing. I hate anything made of bread and if its cold I would rather stay hungry rather than eating it. But, my friends, those days(early morning Idly, sambar, dosa, poori, ….) are gone … Am eating freezed sandwitch (rather say two slices of stupid bread and two tomato slices and one long cucumber and a leaf of spinach) every morning along with a full glass of cold Coffee (Nescafe expresso).

Believe me when I say this, I really don’t understand how people could stay for 10s of years outside INDIA. Seriously, no littering outside, can’t cross the road with out signal, ride cars below 50 (orelse cameras are there to bust us.), dont make much noise in your own fu**ing apartment, coz, neibhours may have some problems.. and if you just touch your friend, they scream " he’s gay. he’s gay". These guys they think they are matured, but, in reality their brains are loaded with loads of crap, that no one can ever change.

I am not sayin that everyone is like this. GOOD exists every whr. There are many good people around here. Like all the land lords of our friends apartments.. they are so cool. Well, the other say we confirmed a house and suddenly before making the contract they refused to give us their apartment. You know the reason for it ?? Guess… !!!! …. My Nationality… They don’t want Indians… whatever may be reason, problem is not our nationality but their crappy way of thinking.This proves their matured?ness.

Anyways, tomorrow its CYPRUS "INDEPENDENCE DAY", well, I wish her a happy happy INDEPENDENCE DAY, by next year it will be in EU. What else ?? I am now riding a CAR (Renault CLIO). Ofcourse, still an amatuer one, yet not bad…   .. May be, we will move into our new apartment tomorrow… who knows what happens.. I dont know what type of problem this guy will have.

NOTE:: The dialogue " I will rent it only to married people", which we hear generally in INDIA, is very very very common in CYPRUS…. Matured ?? Bite me..

Hey there !!!

      So simple yet so Great !! thats what am feelin abt cyprus right now !! The place is so great… right now, its tourist time.. so people from all around Europe are right here in this place…

      Company gave us one month stay in a fully furnished apartment… which can be browsed at http://terpsichori.com/ .. First two days, we had only bread and some pizza.. thats it. On 27th aug,
we spent hearing to different sessions.. its very different and so formal when compared to the "first day at office" in INDIA.

      On 26th Aug sunday our HR ..  has come and paid us 100CYP for some expences… the point is … she has given us the idea on "How do gals in CYPRUS look like" and the answer just blew our minds. Wow she looked like some great angel..

Well, I have seen no teenager around but many +24s. They just look so great.. what else to say… You travel 2 n half hours on the MOTORWAY [high way] u can reach from one end of CYPRUS to the other, in any direction. And about beaches… they are everywhere… its just a two min walk from our apartments and will follow all the way to the company at one end and AIRPORT at the other. Its something like HUTCH’s tagline.. "Where ever you go we will follow" just replace "we" with "Beach".

      This weekend we went for WINE FESTIVAL which is famous in Limassol {BTW this is where am living right now.}. Entry is 2.5 CYP. Wine is free inside the area, we tasted different types of wine. I felt like " My God !! When will I taste all these different types of wine".. There is red wine , ressa, white wine, red dry, white dry and some names that i can’t pronounce, but, i tasted all of them. Esp., Lemon, orange flavoured wines are my favourite.. got one white dry bottle with me still.

       Next "End of Summer" party. It started very dull but ended with a lot of fun.. we got live pop, some arabian dances… and here also free darooooooooooooooo and worst food. I hate those items… no VEG at all. NV also not so great, from what I heard. Arabian dance was great, its neither exotic nor a routine one.. something different..

       "Locals treat us with great hospitality" heard from some guy.. but its not that great.. Anyway it depends on the individual.. What more.. Right now, training is going on. I will post all the pics and videos once I got my own desk and a PC.

I learned a old lesson once again "Take life as it comes". Sounds philosophical, but recent events made my mind to believe it and in adapting it.  See, it also sounds cool, ain’t it ?

Some times we prepare ourselves and really word hard to win or complete something but in the end it turns out to be the opposite of our expected climax., at this point some people feel depressed, some takes it lightly and start preparing for something else [Decision] .

In the same way we dream of so many things which we want in our life., like say everyone want to be a "BIG B" or say "want to marry Aish". But in reality only one man gets to be BIG B or marry Aish. See, that’s life.

Our standard of living depends on the choices that we make. we all heard this line and its absolutely true. To make it more lucid, imagine our lifetime as a path with lots and lots of junctions. Now, every junction is a point of time with different choices available for us to select ONE. Now, where are these choices coming from ?

Fate ? Destiny ? May be God’s wish ? Astrology ? … These answers contains 10% truth. Every choice that appears at a junction depends on the previous choices that we make. Only 10% depends on our fate or say LUCK.  For example, from events that took place recently in my life.

At this point of time [junction], I have to opt one option (among some)to plan my future career [if exists ) ]. Options available for me are.,

1) Take Job at a company in Cyprus [ 100% Luck!! ] and prepare for GRE slowly after sometime i.e. for Fall/Spring ‘09 .

2) Take job in the same company at Pune and prepare for GRE and go for MS for Fall ‘08.  

3) Choose any Job but go for MBA. [Now, this is what am talkin abt earlier i.e. 10% Fate/ Luck .. My last sem results turned out to be a disaster [coz of Sanyal shithead] which aggregated my final score to 7.88. I don’t think this score will give me a chance in Top University. So, my mind is now filled with THE managament thing.]  

4) Put a stop to education and start a venture [ofcourse, after earning some lucre]. This will be a venturous decision, though… ha ha ha.

and there will be some more options if I have a will to dream something else other than s/w engineer. Anyhow, so for now I chose option 1. B’coz, that gives me a year to learn something new and some time to study for GRE. We its completely my decision. You may choose something else.

Well, life gave a option for Cyprus, I took it. It also gave me a least grade in my b.tech life, I took it [though, with a sorrow face ]. One fair one unfair [absolutely unfair]., balanced [bent slightly towards unfair].. hmmm.

       Anyway folks by this time next month, I will be in Limassol, Cyprus filled with alacrity in my every nerve, resting in star hotel [company’s one month accomodation], dreaming about the upcoming Wine festival [Sept., second week] in Limassol.

Ohh God !! May some happy happy months fill my life.
